I showed up this being the very first time I am ever trying on wedding dresses. I walk in and I am introduced to Lacrecia. She instantly started asking me what my vision was, then asked my mom and maid of honor. We all hit the racks, and each picked out a couple of dresses. I started trying them on, starting with the Mori Lee that Lacrecia picked out. It’s Like she knew me and everything I wanted. I instantly fell in love with it. I tried on the rest of the dresses, the plan was to pick out a few and come back and decide, but nothing compared to that Mori Lee. So, I put it back on and she jacked me all up and I fell in love, that was the dress!!
Lacrecia was amazing, it’s like she knew me and knew what would make me feel beautiful. From the second I walked in she made me feel so comfortable and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She picked out the perfect dress just for me.

So, it started with my maid of honor and childhood best friend and few other bridesmaids spending the night with me at my parents, which felt like when we were kids. We spent the night talking about all the memories as kids, sleepovers, boyfriends, all the memories leading up to this day! This is a memory I will forever cherish. I woke up that morning, it was raining, but not very hard. My phone was instantly taken away from me and I was told to enjoy the day and take in every moment and that I did. I ate breakfast with my best girlfriends, giggling and sharing more memories. The hair and make-up started, and we were all getting dolled up drinking mimosas! My maid of honor had a scrap book put together of letters from each of my bridesmaids, parents, Joes parents and of course Joe. I have opened this up several times since this day and read every letter, it is so meaningful! The rain had stopped for a minute, we got pictures with all my girls and then it was time for the first look. I will forever remember this moment. My now husband turned around and had the biggest grin on his face, and just so happy to see me! This was it in just a couple hours this man was going to be mine forever and I couldn’t be more excited. Then it happened… the rain! I’m not talking about just a little bit of rain, I’m talking it was a monsoon, and this continued for the entirety of the night. It rained a total of 7.5 inches that day, on our all outdoor wedding. But that didn’t stop us, our guest began to arrive and my soon to be husband and groomsmen greeted them with a beer or some homemade wine and escorted them to where the ceremony was now going to be held. I spent some more time with my girls laughing, that only on my day would it rain to the point that we had a flood warning. But I married the man of my dreams, under a tent with all our guest sitting at picnic tables. Then the party began, I got to dance the night away with my amazing husband and best friends and family. I couldn’t ask for a better day. We ended our night by hopping on a party bus and heading to a local bar, and continuing to celebrate with our best friends by our side!
