Heather’s Bridal & Formal Experience

The staff at the bridal store was absolutely amazing! They were able to help me and my bridesmaids find the perfect dresses based on our color scheme, dress length, wedding style, and budget. We were thrilled to see a dress that looked great on everyone, regardless of their body type. 
During our visit to the store, the bridal staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to browse and try on gowns. Despite trying on several different styles, the first dress I put on was the one I ultimately chose. I returned the following weekend with my mother and grandmothers to let them pick a few gowns, but I secretly snuck my chosen dress into the mix so they could see it, too. To no one’s surprise, they all selected the same dress my bridesmaids and I had chosen the week before. 
It was an emotional moment for me because, at that time, my grandfather was in the hospital, facing a terminal illness. We had set the wedding date for seven months before our engagement, hoping he would still be here to attend. When I tried on the dress, we FaceTimed him so he could see me and give input. Of course, he said I looked beautiful, and we were all crying! It was an extraordinary moment, and I said “yes” to the dress that day. 
My consultant was an absolute gem! She was very attentive and even had to help me out of a dress I got stuck in trying to pull over my head. Despite the awkward situation, we had a good laugh about it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful to the staff at the bridal store for making it such a special day.
