Sarah and Daniel had been communicating through dispatch for years, but they first met in person at a fire class live burn. Sarah was a student, and Daniel was one of the instructors. Unfortunately, the timing wasn’t perfect, and they didn’t talk for almost two years. One day, Sarah saw him leave the hospital in an ambulance and return to the station. She waved and then found the courage to send him a message. They have been together ever since.
Sarah had no idea what was happening when they decided to go hiking with a mutual friend on a day off. She was slightly confused about why Daniel wore a polo shirt to go hiking, but they went on their adventure anyway. Sarah wanted some cool pictures, so she brought her good camera along, unaware that they would capture their engagement. When they got to Ash Cave, Sarah wanted to take a picture under the “waterfall.” After getting the photo, Daniel said, “Hey, wait, let’s get one more.” Sarah turned around to find him on one knee proposing to her. They got engaged in Ash Cave on July 31st, 2021. A little over a year later, Sarah and Daniel married in the same spot where they got engaged.
Sarah and Daniel’s wedding ceremony occurred at the picturesque Ash Cave in the serene Hocking Hills State Park. The wedding day was perfect, with the sun shining bright and the weather pleasantly warm. The couple exchanged vows at precisely 2:30 pm in an intimate and heartfelt ceremony attended only by their closest friends and family.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Cedar Grove for a larger reception. The reception was an unforgettable experience, filled with joy, laughter, and merriment. From the delicious food to the lively music, everything was perfectly planned and executed, making it an absolute blast for everyone in attendance.
I had a fantastic experience choosing a dress with the help of the staff. I don’t usually wear dresses or dress up, so I was still determining what I was looking for. However, the staff was there for me every step of the way, offering suggestions and helping me try on different dresses. We spent around two hours looking for the perfect dress, and when we found it, they helped me choose simple yet elegant accessories to go with it.
The staff was terrific and patient with me. It had been years since I last wore a dress, and I needed help figuring out where to start. They picked out a few dresses they thought would look good on me, and my family also chose some for me to try on. When I went out to show everyone the dresses, the staff made sure everyone looked amazing. Finally, we found THE dress, and after trying it on multiple times, I fell more in love with it. The staff also helped me fix my hair and found a beautiful headpiece to complete the look. They truly made my dream a reality!
