Dain and Paige met in December 2019 through a setup by their parents, who work together. Two years later, on December 4, 2021, Dain surprised Paige with a marriage proposal in the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. The location was meaningful to both of them because they loved the mountains. Paige was completely surprised by the proposal. Dain chose the engagement ring by himself, but he got some help by checking Paige’s Pinterest and getting her best friend’s opinion. Dain had dinner with Paige’s parents the day before the trip to ask for their blessing and show them the ring. They shared the happy news with their family and friends afterward.
Paige and Dain had a specific idea for their big day. They wanted a simple, relaxed, stress-free celebration showing who they were with their loved ones. They chose to have the ceremony outdoors and the reception indoors, hoping for great weather and yummy buffet food for everyone. Instead of usual wedding stuff, they made the day their own with a popcorn bar, a special drink, and many cupcakes. They had fun playing music, including songs for their first and last dances. They also set up a cornhole game outside for their guests. They honored their family by displaying their pictures on a “Love Grows Here” table. Paige loved the time she spent getting ready with her bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law, sharing laughter, conversations, and happy tears. She also had lovely moments with her dad and Dain before the ceremony, ensuring they had quiet, special times amid all the excitement. They made sure to have a great photographer to capture all the memories. Paige looks back and feels good about their choices. Marrying her best friend and seeing their dreams come true made their wedding day a joy-filled memory.
I had an incredible time at the Bridal and Formal. When my best friend found her dress there, I wanted to do the same. It was the third store I had been to, and I had no luck elsewhere. Looking at the dresses with my mom, mother-in-law, and best friend was really special. My bridal stylist was terrific – so friendly, patient, and helpful. I tried on many dresses, and at times, it felt overwhelming. But my stylist never rushed me and made the whole process so easy. When she added a veil and accessories, it felt like my “say ‘yes’ to the dress” moment. After finding my dress, I went back with my bridesmaids and mom, and they also found their perfect dresses for my big day.
