The Proposal

of

Marsha & Michael

Michael and I met on Tinder in 2016, and we talked there, and I eventually got his phone number. I am unsure what occurred between 2016 and 2018, but we lost contact and didn’t talk. At the beginning of 2018, I went through my phone and deleted the numbers of people I did not speak to. I came across his number, asked who he was, and sent a photo. We then started talking, and we eventually met up in March, and our first date was at Texas Roadhouse. A couple of days later, a haunted house was held at St. Patrick’s day, and we went with my siblings and my cousin…What a way to introduce him to my crazy family. The proposal was basic, it was December of 2020, and I was outside scraping the snow off his car since he had to work the night shift. We were going to grab dinner, and before I got in the car, he popped the question.

The Wedding

of

Marsha & Michael

The girls and I stayed in a hotel the night before. We woke up around 7am, ate breakfast, and went to the hair salon. We all finished around 10:00am, and then we headed over to the reception hall to get ready and receive some pictures beforehand. While at the reception hall, we got makeup done and got ready. Of course, we had mimosas (: One thing I will remember is my youngest flower girl coming in while I was getting my makeup done and saying, “Marsha I brought my wedding dress.” The limo arrived around 2ish and took us to the church. The boys were upstairs, and we girls went downstairs till the ceremony began. As I was walking down the stairs (after school program) was in session, and there was a little girl who said, “Look it’s Cinderella” Once I knew Mike was in the church, I was able to go upstairs and greet some guests and see the groomsmen beforehand. After the short 30 minute ceremony, we headed off to the reception. We started getting pictures as a married couple and with our bridal party. Finally, the entrance began with many creative entrances from my bridal party. For example, my sister (MOH) shotgunned a beer, my brother carried my best friend in, and my junior bridesmaid and her dad, who was a groomsman, stopped in the middle, and she asked for money, and he said no and finally gave in. We started with our dances as a couple and a daughter dance. Dinner is served! While our guests were finishing eating, we walked around and greeted our guests. We performed other dances such as the bouquet toss, garter removal, and the longest-married couple. This was hard for my family since we had lost my cousin two weeks before the wedding. It was a fantastic time, and I will forever cherish it and remember it.

Marsha’s

Bridal & Formal

Experience

The staff was very welcoming and could find what I wanted based on what I told them. I had my mom, two aunts, and one of my flower girls with me. It was a tough decision between two dresses. I am pleased with the one I chose. It was different then what I dreamed of.
Molly was very considerate with our price range and even brought some dresses that they thought I may like based on what I told them.
