Dustin and Loryn met at the most perfect and imperfect time! They matched on a dating app and then went on their first date on March 13th, 2020. Two days later, all restaurants shut down due to the COVID-19 lockdown…Dustin & Loryn spent their dates having dinner with their parents. It was the oddest way to begin a relationship, but it quickly revealed that they were meant to be together. Navigating the pandemic was HARD. But it truly made Dustin & Loryn’s relationship with one another stronger, and it allowed them to focus on family rather than the other distractions in the world. Loryn will never regret the quality time they spent with their families at the start of their relationship. In the fall of 2021, Loryn planned a photo shoot for them to participate in. Fall is Loryn’s favorite season, and she wanted some professional photos to document their relationship.
The photos were scheduled for a Saturday evening. About a week in advance, the photographer told Loryn there was a scheduling conflict and she would be unable to do the photos then. She would either have to do them at 8 am that same Saturday or cancel and reschedule. Loryn was devastated, to say the least, because the morning was not ideal. Still, Dustin encouraged Loryn that it would turn out fine. They proceeded with the 8 am photoshoot and took the photos on Loryn’s family’s farm. When they made it back there, the photographer took some pictures in a few spots, and then when they found their best spot, she had Dustin stand behind Loryn like he was going to run up behind her and hug her. She counted to three, and instead of Dustin running, she told Loryn to turn around. When she did, Loryn found Dustin behind her on one knee!!! The entire moment was caught on camera, and it was so perfect! After the YES and the rest of the photos, they returned to Loryn’s parent’s house, where the family welcomed them after their big moment! Then Dustin & Loryn went to celebrate with his family! Finally, they rounded out the evening with friends! Dustin had invited their closest friends to gather for a surprise engagement celebration! It was the most magical day!
Dustin & Loryn’s wedding day was the most beautiful fall day they could have asked for! They were blessed to have 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, a ring bearer, and a flower girl standing by their sides. While it sounds like this large wedding party would be challenging, they had the most fantastic group of people! The ceremony was absolutely stunning! It was performed by Loryn’s childhood pastor, and he truly blessed them and their marriage. Dustin & Loryn had close to 300 guests attend their wedding, and it truly meant so much to have a room filled with the people who love them the most. Dustin & Loryn left the ceremony in a party bus and headed to the Brown County Airport. Dustin is a pilot, so getting a couple of shots while an airplane was flying overhead was only fitting! These photos were absolutely EPIC! They were so blessed to know someone who owned an aircraft and was willing to do some pass-overs until they captured the perfect picture! After the photos, Dustin & Loryn went to the reception and danced the night away. It was the most perfect day that anyone could have asked for!
When my fiance got on one knee, I knew I would be shopping at Bridal & Formal for the dress of my dreams! I have attended dress shopping outings with two friends at Bridal and Formal and loved their experiences so much that I knew I wanted my own. I scheduled my only dress-shopping appointment with B&F for December 2021. When we arrived, we were welcomed with smiling faces and positivity. I felt like the guest of honor from the moment I walked in! Sandra was absolutely amazing! I told her my dream dress style and price range, and she worked magic! I tried on 13 dresses before landing on THE one. As soon as I put it on, I knew I would be walking down the aisle. If I had seen this dress on the hanger, I would never have tried it on. I respected how Sandra encouraged me to try on dresses outside of what I had envisioned. Sandra made sure that this experience was enjoyable for me. She encouraged my guests to remember that this was ultimately MY choice. She ensured they knew she would advocate for me and what I wanted the entire time. This allowed my shopping experience to go so smoothly.
