Zachariah and Lauren first met when Lauren was in law school and living in Covington. Zachariah came to Louisville to meet Lauren’s family and friends when they first started dating. After a nice dinner, Lauren took Zachariah to the bridge because she knew he would enjoy it. That night, Zachariah opened up to her about his feelings for her. Later in their relationship, he playfully teased Lauren, saying he would propose to her on the bridge. Lauren laughed it off and said, “Whatever!” Two years later, Zachariah surprised Lauren with a proposal at the Big Four Bridge in Louisville.
Lauren and Zachariah had a beautiful destination wedding with just 50 close friends and family. It was a busy day with everyone getting ready and taking many photos. The wedding coordinator did a fantastic job keeping everything on track and ensuring everyone was on time. Despite a bit of rain before the ceremony, Lauren and Zachariah said their vows on a lovely dock overlooking the peaceful beach in Jamaica. It was a wonderful celebration that felt like it went by too fast!
Bridal & Formal was fantastic! A friend from my sorority recommended it to me, and I found the perfect dress there even though I’m a plus size. I was initially going to visit a boutique out of state, but I’m so glad I didn’t because I found the dress on my first visit. The excellent staff there made the whole process so much easier for me. Another sorority sister is also planning to get her wedding dress from Bridal & Formal!
