The Proposal

Kristin & Ben

Kristin and Ben’s love story started at Ashland University, where they both attended. Ben was a football player, and Kristin was a cheerleader. One night, Ben stumbled upon Kristin’s floor in her residence hall while she was hanging out with her friends. They began to chat, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Years later, when Ben was ready to propose, he chose Hayden Falls in Dublin, OH. The road leading to the fall had a long walkway, which Ben decorated with vases of roses. There were five vases, one for every year they had been together. At the end of the walkway was a heart-shaped arrangement of rose petals, where Ben got down on one knee and asked Kristin to be his forever.

The Wedding

Kristin and Ben’s wedding was truly unique. They held the ceremony and reception at Ivory Meadows in Yellow Springs, OH. Although the morning was plagued with storms, the skies cleared up around 1pm, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony; it was a beautiful sight. It was heartwarming to see their friends and family mingling and dancing the night away together under one roof.
