Hannah & Joey

Hannah and Joey met through a mutual friend Hannah had known for over ten years. They talked about meeting someone who reminded them of a familiar friend and how Joey was fun and outgoing. Hannah is convinced that they had no idea marriage would result from a simple introduction, yet they have married and are all extremely close friends almost two years later. 

Hannah and Joey were scheduled to visit Jacksonville, FL, with Hannah’s parents, in February 2022 to see relatives and friends. Joey had arranged a photo shoot with Hannah’s buddy, which she was looking forward to. As they prepared to go to Florida, an ice storm in Cincinnati shut down the airport and forced the flight to be canceled. “Let’s drive!” Hannah’s parents exclaimed. They got back in the car and went down to Jacksonville that day. During the shoot, they noticed an airplane returning with a flag that read, “Adrianna, will you marry me, Jose?” That was not her nor her husband’s name, but Joey took advantage of Hannah’s distraction to drop down on one knee and propose! Hannah stated, “My name isn’t Adrianna,” before exclaiming, “YES!” As their friends ran out to congratulate them, they laughed and celebrated. Hannah and Joey celebrated with her parents and family after having dinner together!
