The Proposal of Chelsea & Kyle

We met in 2016 at the end of our senior years at UC. It was at a time when neither of us was “looking for love,” but they say that’s precisely how you end up running into the one! Kyle is from Cleveland and was set on going home after graduation but decided to stay in Cincinnati. We moved in together the summer just before COVID-19 hit and bought a house together in March 2021. That summer, we went down to Myrtle Beach with a group of friends where everyone ~very stealthily~ helped plan a surprise proposal on the beach! It was a perfect moment.

The Wedding of Chelsea & Kyle

Our wedding day was an absolute blast! Everything went off without a hitch; I didn’t need to bring out my inner bridezilla. My wedding dress was so beautiful; it was comfortable all night, an added bonus! All our vendors were so great, and even with Pride Fest and Tequila Fest going on at the same time around Fountain Square, the venue made it so easy for everyone to get in and out with no issues. Speaking of our venue, The Center knows how to throw a party! Their open concept worked so well with our photo wall, gift table, and late-night bite table, and the servers and bartenders worked their tails off to ensure all of our guests were accommodated (responsibly). Our DJ was off the CHAIN!! He worked with our requests and provided our guests a great night, to the point where the floor was bounding along with us! I wouldn’t have changed anything about our beautiful day.

Bridal & Formal was terrific! Everyone we spoke with was kind, and we found a fantastic wedding dress within our budget!
Lacrecia was great! She was highly knowledgeable of the whole selection at Bridal and Formal and helped us reel in a handful of gorgeous dresses. She was also kind but sincere about which dresses would work best for my body type, which I appreciated!
