Austin and Cecily first met during college when they had a couple of courses together at Miami University. After graduation, they went their separate ways but reconnected when they both landed an internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. They hit it off really well and enjoyed each other’s company so much that they would have lunch together every day at work!
Fast-forward to their engagement, which happened most romantically during a trip to Turks and Caicos. Austin proposed to Cecily with a stunning sunset view in the background. It was a moment they both had been waiting for. Cecily loves the beach, and they have spent many special holidays there. As a surprise, Austin had invited Cecily’s parents to celebrate the big moment with them, and they flew down to Turks and Caicos. The group had an incredible dinner together on the beach, a moment they will cherish forever.

The Wedding of Cecily & Austin

Cecily and Austin had a fantastic wedding weekend. The celebration was held on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, and was indeed a special occasion. They were surrounded by fifty of their closest family and friends, and the beach served as a stunning backdrop. The entire weekend was spent at the Inn on Fifth in downtown Naples, where everyone stayed.
The ladies had a poolside lunch on Saturday while the guys went golfing. Meanwhile, everyone attended the rehearsal dinner in the evening, and it was such a blast. They had a great time sharing memories about the couple, and it was heartwarming to see how much everyone loved Cecily and Austin.
The wedding ceremony itself was breathtaking. It was held on the beach at La Playa Beach and Golf Resort, and the candle-lined aisle and ocean view made for an unforgettable setting. Furthermore, Cecily’s dad walked her down the aisle while a guitarist played “To Build a Home.” Her two older brothers officiated the wedding, and her sister-in-laws each read an excerpt about love and marriage. Cecily and Austin exchanged their vows during the ceremony, making it really emotional and intimate.
After the ceremony, they returned to the Fifth Inn for dinner and dancing. The reception, held on the outdoor patio, was absolutely stunning. The newlyweds danced the night away with all their guests, who were ready to party. It was a fun celebration for Cecily and Austin, who will undoubtedly cherish the memories of their special day forever.

Bridal & Formal Experience

I had a fantastic experience at Bridal & Formal! As a Cincinnati native, I always wanted to browse in the bridal district. While in town from Columbus for my brother’s wedding shower, I had limited time to spare before heading home. We made just one appointment at B&F, and I came in with an open mind. To my surprise, I found the dress of my dreams! The first dress I tried on was the one. Sandra, my consultant, was excellent and attentive to my needs. She checked in on how I felt about each dress before deciding. Sandra chose so many beautiful dresses and styles for me, making it challenging to decide. However, when I wore the veil and belt, I knew it was the perfect dress for me! It was a memorable experience, and I am grateful to B&F for making it effortless and helping me find the dress!
Sandra did an excellent job listening to my likes and dislikes while encouraging me to try on different types of dresses. She asked me about my plans for our beach wedding and for details about myself and my fiance. The dresses Sandra pulled for me were stunning and had different textures, materials, and silhouettes. Once she pulled the first set of dresses, she lined them up in my dressing room and let me choose which one to start with. Ultimately, I was between two dresses, and Sandra encouraged me to have a moment with my mom and me to make the final decision. She called in the rest of my entourage, and we revealed the dress I chose with my veil on. It was so much fun!
