The Proposal of Ashlee & Michael

Michael and Ashlee first met at Western Kentucky University, where Michael was a KA and Ashlee was a Phi Mu. Michael swears they met at a KA party, but Ashlee remembers it differently; she thinks it was at the old apartments behind the KA house. Despite their different versions of the story, they hit it off, but one was always hesitant to take the next step.
After Michael asked Ashlee to be his girlfriend in the fall, she kindly declined, thinking they were better suited as friends. Ashlee later regretted her decision, but they went their separate ways, dated other people, and lost touch. However, fate brought them back together after college when they moved back to Louisville. They took trips together and eventually realized they were meant to be.
Fast forward to June 19, 2021, when Michael proposed to Ashlee at the church’s altar, where they would get married. It didn’t go as planned, but it was still a special moment that Ashlee wouldn’t have wanted any other way. Now, nine years after their first meeting, Ashlee lives her dream life with Michael and their three adorable fur babies, Murphy, Fenway, and Libby.

The Wedding of Ashlee & Michael

Ashlee and Michael’s fantastic wedding day started bright and early at 7 AM when the bridesmaids headed to Ashlee’s parents’ house to prepare for the big day. From 8 AM to 12:30 PM, they got their hair and makeup done and took some fantastic photos with Ashlee’s dogs, bridesmaids, and mother-in-law. At 2 PM, the party bus arrived to pick up Ashlee and her bridal party and take them to the church.
Meanwhile, the boys met at Ashlee’s sister-in-law’s house at 11 AM, playing pool and poker until they headed out at 3 PM to take photos.
At the church, Ashlee revealed her beautiful dress to her grandpa and dad in a touching moment they’ll all treasure forever. And the ceremony was just as lovely, with all their closest friends and family gathering to share in their love.
Afterward, they headed to Mellwood Arts Center for more photos and then to the reception for delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and a night of dancing and celebration. And when it was over, they kept the fun going with an open bar and the best late-night snack ever – White Castle sliders!
It was the best day of their lives, and they’ll never forget it.

Bridal & Formal Experience

I had the most beautiful time at Bridal & Formal! When we stepped in, the friendly ladies greeted us with warmth and eagerness to help me find my dream dress. We looked around and found a few dresses, but the one I had my eye on could have hit better. So, I tried an off-the-shoulder dress, which wasn’t my cup of tea but worth a shot. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel right.
But then, my fairy godmother from Bridal and Formal suggested I try another dress, which I didn’t think I would like. It had a lot of lace, which I wasn’t too keen on. But when I put it on, I was over the moon! I couldn’t help but cry tears of joy. It was THE ONE! They felt the same way when I showed it to my family and friends. It was such a beautiful moment.
Bridal & Formal then did my hair and added all the lovely jewels, and I knew it was the perfect dress for me. My bridal stylist was incredible; she helped me see things in a different light and choose something I didn’t even know I liked. Looking back now, a year and a half later, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The experience was unforgettable, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.py she did.
