Amy & Alex || Walhill Farm

After celebrating with hugs and phone calls to their loved ones, Alex revealed that he had been carrying the ring in his pocket all weekend, waiting for the perfect moment to propose. Amy couldn’t believe it – she was worried the ring would fall out of his pocket! But everything worked out perfectly, and their Halloween proposal was even more magical because there was a “blue moon” that year, which only happens every two to three years. They even chose a navy theme for their wedding in honor of the occasion.

Amy & Alex

Amy had a lovely reunion with a childhood friend she had been reconnecting with, and he brought along his friend Alex. They had a great time chatting and sipping drinks, and it was apparent that Alex and Amy hit it off right from the start. After talking on Facebook for a few weeks, they decided to go on their first date, which happened to be at their church’s Thanksgiving Eve service. They were both surprised to discover that they attended the same church. Despite the unusual location for a first date, Amy and Alex knew they had something special.

Fast forward to Halloween, Amy’s favorite holiday. Alex proposed to her while they were camping and off-roading for the weekend. Unfortunately, the rain put a damper on their plans, and the giant bonfire they had planned was a no-go. Instead, they all sat around a smaller fire. Amy was shocked when Alex asked if she wanted chips from the truck and found a white box inside the bag – she was convinced someone had accidentally left it there! But when she pulled out the box and looked up, she saw Alex on one knee, and everyone was pointing their cameras at her. She was so happy when Alex put the ring on her finger, she couldn’t stop crying. The ring was a stunner – Alex had taken her birthmother’s ring and put the diamond in a new setting.

The Wedding of Amy & Alex

Amy and Alex’s wedding day was simply beautiful! They were surrounded by their loved ones, who had helped mold and shape them into the remarkable individuals they are today. And even though Mother Nature had different plans for their lakeside ceremony, it didn’t dampen their spirits. In fact, their day went without a hitch!
They had spent the day before setting up at the venue, but it wasn’t until the actual day of the wedding that everything fell into place. The little touches added by the venue staff made it even more magical and romantic.
Amy’s dad was a bit nervous before the ceremony, so she asked the bartender to pour him a shot to calm his nerves. Moments like these make weddings so unique and unforgettable.
Looking into Alex’s eyes as they exchanged their vows was a surreal moment for Amy. And hearing the thunderous applause as they were pronounced husband and wife made it even more special. It’s every little girl’s dream to have a wedding, but Amy and Alex’s day was indeed better than anything they could have imagined!
Their friend surprised them with two alpacas as a wedding gift. Can you believe it? The alpacas appeared during their outdoor photo shoot, which was the night’s talk! It’s little surprises like these that make weddings so much fun.
As they say, your wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye. But in the end, Amy knew she had married her best friend, and that’s all that mattered. They had an absolute blast, and so did all of their guests!

Amy’s

Bridal & Formal Experience

As soon as you walk through the door, you’ll be surrounded by a lovely, upscale, and calming environment, but don’t worry – it’s still welcoming and friendly! The staff are the first to welcome you and ask if you need anything while waiting for your consultant to arrive. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and approachable, a lovely bonus to the beautiful surroundings.
When I picked up my dress, I was thrilled to find that it fit perfectly, thanks to the lady who had measured me and found the perfect size. My bridal stylist was simply amazing! She took the time to get to know me and my budget, asked about my vision, and even enquired about styles I wanted to avoid. She was so personable to me and my friends and family and made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on. When I put on the last dress she had picked, we both knew it was “the one.” And to top it off, I was lucky to meet the dress designer, who was so friendly and made my experience even more special. She even told me that the dress had just been released the night before and that I was the first bride to purchase it!
