Our wedding day was not how we had planned it to be the previous 9 months. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to downsize our 350-plus guest count to our 10 immediate family members standing six feet apart. We could no longer use our original venue, so we chose a public park instead. We quickly found new and unique ways to incorporate our friends and family without putting anyone at risk. My fiance and I decided to stream our ceremony through Facebook Live and GoTo Meeting. We encouraged our friends and family to also view from the parking lot, and we would walk through toasting to those who came to witness our wedding. Bret and I were blown away by the number of viewers and participants in the parking lot!! We even had the West Chester Fire Department there to honk as we sealed our vows with a kiss! The weather wasn’t ideal, but the rain subsided for our entire ceremony! Our reception was held at the Best Man’s house, where we had our cake cutting and Frist Dance! We’ve rescheduled our recreation of the ceremony and reception for July 24th! I wouldn’t change a thing about our April 17th, 2020, wedding, and I am one of the luckiest Brides to be able to wear my dress twice!
I had the most fantastic experience when shopping for my bridal gown. Bobbi was assigned to assist, and I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated, enthusiastic, genuine person to work with! I couldn’t wait to send her pictures from our Wedding Day!
