Online shopping can be tricky regarding sizing—measurements may be off, or the fit might not be what you expected. At Bridal and Formal, our stylists will work with you in-store to ensure the proper sizing, going over measurements with each bridesmaid. While slight alterations might still be needed once the gown arrives, we aim to get the best possible fit from the start.
Though we don’t do in-house alterations, we provide a comprehensive list of trusted seamstresses throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. They’ll help fine-tune the gowns for that perfect fit!
If some of your bridesmaids can’t make it to the appointment, don’t worry! They can quickly call into our store and speak with one of our stylists, who will guide them through the measurement process and recommend the right size. We even offer shipping for out-of-state bridesmaids, so the gowns can be delivered to their door for just $30. While our stylists can’t see the fit over the phone, we’ll guide you based on the information you provide, and you get to make the final call on sizing.
Bridesmaid gowns are designed to fit close to the body, which might initially feel a bit snug. This is normal for formal attire! Many designers, including some of the ones we carry, are introducing stretch fabrics into their collections to add a layer of comfort without sacrificing style.
