Sarah and Colin’s love story began years before their wedding day. One of their favorite traditions was visiting the Christmas lights at the Columbus and Cincinnati Zoos. On December 17, 2022, they continued that tradition at the Cincinnati Zoo, but this time, the night held a special surprise. Sarah had planned the outing with friends, and while enjoying the twinkling lights in the bamboo garden, Colin got down on one knee and asked Sarah to marry him. Excitedly, Sarah said yes and celebrated with their friends at dinner at a sushi restaurant.
Sarah and Colin’s wedding day was nothing short of magical despite the whirlwind of emotions and excitement that filled the air. They tied the knot on a beautiful day in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by family and friends who shared in their joy. From the intimate ceremony to the fun-filled reception, their big day reflects their love and the life they’ve built together.
The couple exchanged vows at Our Lady of the Rosary in Dayton, Ohio. The church’s timeless beauty and serene atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Colin’s heartfelt ceremony. Surrounded by loved ones, the ceremony felt as though it passed in the blink of an eye, but the memories made will last a lifetime.
After the ceremony, Sarah and Colin celebrated their union at The Bicentennial Barn, a charming venue in Dayton, Ohio. The reception was a joyous event, where the couple and their guests danced the night away. From the heartfelt moments shared with family to the lively celebrations with friends, the night was filled with love, laughter, and plenty of dancing. The Bicentennial Barn’s rustic charm and picturesque setting added to the day’s magic, making it a night to remember.

Sarah praised her bridal stylist at Bridal & Formal, saying, “Bobbi was amazing. Not only did she help me find my style, but she was so patient with my family, including my mother-in-law. She made sure everyone’s input was heard, and in the end, I found a dress I truly loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
Sarah’s journey to finding the perfect wedding dress began at Bridal & Formal, where her stylist, Bobbi, expertly guided her. Reflecting on her experience, Sarah shared, “It was a great experience, from trying on beautiful dresses to finally picking the one. My stylist, Bobbi, really understood my style based on what I liked and what I showed her from my Pinterest page. At first, I didn’t know what I wanted, but with her help, I found a dress I hadn’t considered before – and I fell in love with it.”
Sarah chose the Morilee Dani gown, which made her feel like a dream on her wedding day. The detachable sleeves were a unique feature that guests raved about. “I received so many compliments on the dress! People kept telling me how much they loved it and how it felt perfectly ‘me,’” Sarah recalled.
