Summer Love: Megan & Josh’s Sunflower Wedding

The Proposal

Josh and Megan met in high school and became good friends. They stayed close even though Josh had feelings for Megan, and she only saw him as a friend. After 8 years, their feelings grew, and they started dating in April 2018.
In December 2021, Josh and Megan went to Gatlinburg with some friends. They had a great time exploring the town, visiting the aquarium, and having a nice dinner. When they returned to their cabin, their friends suggested taking pictures before the Christmas tree. After all the other couples had their turn, Josh surprised everyone by kneeling and proposing to Megan. It was a beautiful moment, made even more special as their friends played their song “Heaven” by Kane Brown.

The Wedding

Megan and Josh got married on a beautiful summer day in June 2023. The guys looked great in gray suits, and the girls wore lovely eucalyptus green dresses, all matching the sunflower theme. They said their vows in their favorite church and left the ceremony with a fun bubble sendoff. The reception at Oasis was fantastic, with their favorite music and many happy family members dancing all night. They enjoyed delicious food, including a Boston Cream Pie cake and different flavored cupcakes for the guests. Megan and Josh took some time to get stunning sunset photos on the golf course. The evening was so much fun that everyone would have kept dancing if the DJ didn’t have to stop the music!

The bridal stylist was super helpful and patient; she got what I was looking for. I didn’t need to look at other stores because I found my dream dress there!
