Let me tell you a cute story that began with a wagging tail and a furry bundle of joy, known as Paper or maybe Piper. About eight years ago, Matt brought his new pup to the local clinic where Emily worked. And guess what? It was love at first sight! They both admired each other from afar for years while working at the clinic, attending cattleman’s banquets, and helping beef producers at the fair. But Matt finally found the courage to ask Emily out on a date. Unfortunately, their plans got rescheduled several times due to bad weather. But eventually, on February 12th, 2021, they made it to Smitty’s Italian Steakhouse, where they had dinner, and it was so good they didn’t want it to end! Matt surprised Emily with two dozen frozen roses two days later when he showed up at a family lunch. Since then, they have been inseparable and hardly spent more than five days apart.
Fast forward to April 16th, 2022, Matt and Emily had just come back after vaccinating their horses when he got a call from his friend Brad, saying that their cattle got loose. So, he asked Emily if she could lend a helping hand, and without hesitation, she said, “Sure!” Matt drove them out to the pasture, and while Emily was looking for the missing cattle, she saw the barbed wire fence line that read, “Will you marry me?” Emily was over the moon when Matt got down on one knee to ask her to marry him. And, of course, she said YES!
Let me tell you about Emily and Matt’s wedding. Ever since she was young, Emily had dreamt of a grand wedding on her family farm with a tent full of lights. And just this past May, her dream finally came true with the help of her loving husband, Matt. He worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect, as Emily envisioned.
Emily wanted a timeless and elegant wedding that she would still cherish in 20-30 years. They exchanged vows outside a lodge overlooking a beautiful lake and valley, using old church pews that Emily found for free. They kept the ceremony decor minimal, focusing on the stunning view and their love for each other.
The reception was held in a pasture that they transformed into a magical setting with twinkling lights, a black and white checkered dance floor, and a twin peak tent. Even though their wedding planner questioned Emily’s sanity a few times, she ultimately trusted her vision. Emily’s father also played a significant role in making her dream come true, spending countless hours grooming the field, cleaning fence lines, and spraying for bugs.
Many people helped the couple in various ways, making their wedding day memorable. It will always be their favorite day, a true testament to their love.
Let me tell you about my incredible experience at Bridal and Formal! After visiting 15 stores and trying on countless dresses, I felt down, but the moment I walked into Bridal and Formal, I was met with the kindest staff ever! Even the consultants who weren’t assigned to me were helpful and friendly. Within 30 minutes, my consultant found the dress I said yes to! And let me tell you, they had so many options, it was tough to choose just one!
A few weeks later, I called back to ask about bridesmaids’ dresses, and the staff was still unbelievably helpful. We ordered everything over the phone, and the dresses were perfect! I highly recommend Bridal and Formal to anyone!
Now let me tell you about my consultant, Kelly. She was a total rockstar! She instantly understood my vision for the dress, and I had found the perfect one before I knew it! Kelly was patient and ensured I could savor the moment with my family and friends. Even though I’m sure she had a packed schedule, she made us feel like we were the most influential people in the world. If you’re planning a visit to Bridal and Formal, request Kelly! Though honestly, everyone there is just as special as she is!
