John and Klair met while studying at Bowling Green State University. John was studying construction management, while Klair was pursuing her passion for nursing. They both hit it off as friends and eventually started dating in January 2019.
After spending a few years together, John moved to Cincinnati for his job while Klair was still finishing her studies. Although they were in a long-distance relationship, they kept their love strong. Klair graduated in May 2020, during the height of the COVID pandemic, and later moved to Cincinnati to start her nursing career and live with John.
Together, John and Klair loved traveling, and their favorite destination was the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They had a trip planned for Labor Day weekend in 2021, and John had a surprise for Klair on the first night of their trip. He got down on one knee and proposed to Klair, and of course, she said yes! They spent the rest of the weekend exploring the mountains, shopping, and relaxing in each other’s company.
Klair and John said “I do” on a chilly December day at Nazareth Hall, and let me tell you, it was magical! They went for a winter wonderland theme decorated with stunning emerald green, gold, and black decorations. Klair and her bridesmaids started their day at 9 am, getting dolled up in the bridal suite while John and his groomsmen enjoyed the college football playoffs in the groom’s suite. When the photographer arrived, they took loads of getting-ready photos and detail shots – it was so exciting! John and Klair had an adorable first look at the elevator and stairwell at Nazareth, followed by a fun photo session outside in the 30-degree weather with their lovely bridal party. And guess what? As they took pictures, the sun started peeking through the overcast skies – talk about a fairy tale moment! After the photoshoot, they returned to Klair’s bridal suite and waited for their guests to arrive. The ceremony was held in the Nazareth Hall chapel, stunning with its stained glass windows and romantic dim lighting. The cocktail hour and reception followed at the Lady Glen Ballroom in Nazareth. The buffet and bar were fantastic, and the late-night snacks were to die for! The reception was a blast, filled with dancing, laughter, and good vibes. John and Klair even snuck out with Cassidy to take breathtaking nighttime pictures outside Nazareth Hall – so romantic!
Bridal and Formal was the first and only bridal store I visited. I was referred to it by a former employee who had worked there during their college years and who now worked with me as a nurse. I went in with an open mind, hoping to find my perfect dress. From the start, the staff were exceptional. Zach, the consultant assigned to me, was already aware of a dress I had an eye on and had it ready for me to try. Another consultant, Dani, helped me browse the stock area and suggested dresses that caught my attention. They were all mindful of my budget and ensured I stayed within it. The store had a great waiting area for my family, too. The staff were all kind and supportive and gave me plenty of compliments on the dresses I tried on. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations.
Dani, in particular, was an outstanding consultant. She understood my likes and dislikes and chose dresses that fit my preferences perfectly. Dani was also very knowledgeable about the store’s dress inventory. When I asked if she had a particular dress, she could pull it out and have me try it on. Dani made the experience memorable, and I will always be grateful to her.
