The Proposal of Hannah & Casey

Casey and Hannah have been together since high school, starting their relationship when they were only 14 and 15 years old! They stayed together throughout high school, and both attended Ohio State University. After a decade of being together, Casey pulled off a fantastic surprise proposal during a vacation with Hannah’s family and some of their closest friends at Norris Lake in Tennessee. While the guys left dinner early for a “fishing competition,” Hannah stayed with the girls one night. Little did she know, the guys were preparing candles and flowers at the dock for when she returned. When Hannah saw the beautiful setup, she was overwhelmed with emotions and started to cry, which Casey took as a yes! Surrounded by some of their favorite people, Hannah couldn’t have asked for a better proposal.

The Wedding

of

Hannah & Casey

Hannah spent the morning getting ready with her best friends, the girls who had heard her talk about and dream of this day for her entire life. They danced, laughed, and watched “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” while finishing their hair and makeup. Hannah remembers feeling incredibly calm and relaxed the entire day. She was having the best time and trying to soak in every minute!
The weather outside was perfect. Hannah had had bad luck with the weather not cooperating with her on essential days before (it stormed for her graduation, engagement, and bridal shower!), so she was definitely most nervous about the weather leading up to the wedding! She refused to check the forecast all week because if it was going to storm, she didn’t want to know! When Hannah woke up on her wedding day, the sun shone without a cloud in the sky – it felt like the first sign of the perfect day.
One of Hannah’s favorite parts of the day was doing their first look and reading their vows to each other privately. They both needed to see her (soon-to-be) husband alone and have that time together before the day’s craziness started. Hannah loved reading their vows to each other without the pressure of others watching. It felt like time stood still, and they were in their little world, making promises only meant for each other.
Their ceremony was beautiful. Hannah doesn’t think there was a dry eye in the room. The ceremony followed cocktail hour, more pictures, first dances, then dinner. One memory that will always stick with Hannah is sitting at the head table with her new husband, looking around the room and saying to each other, “Wow, this is so fun.” They continued to make comments like that to each other all night, just periodically looking at each other and saying, “This is so fun,” “This is the best day ever,” “Wow, this is so cool,” etc.
Their wedding day was everything they dreamed it would be and so much more. Hannah knows everyone tells you it will be the best day ever. Still, no words can honestly explain the overwhelming happiness and love you feel in a room filled with every single one of your closest friends and family – all there to celebrate your happily ever after. They could not have had a more beautiful day. It indeed was the best day ever.

Hannah’s

Bridal & Formal

Experience

I followed a million bridal pages on Instagram as soon as I got engaged (as one does). One day, while scrolling through my feed, I saw a post saying that Randy Fenoli would be at Bridal and Formal on September 24th, 2021. Not only was this exactly one year from my wedding day, but I have also been watching “Say Yes to the Dress” since I was 10 years old. My roommates and I would watch it every day together after class while doing homework in college. This felt like FATE.
I had a fantastic experience at Bridal and Formal, from the beginning to the end. Randy was accommodating and involved throughout my entire visit. He gave me individual attention and spent a lot of time with me. I fell in love with a dress from his trunk show, and he told me I was the first bride to say yes to that dress. My “Say Yes to the Dress” moment with Randy was a dream come true. This day will always be special to me.
Bobbi was fantastic. Her contagious energy made my experience ten times more fun than I expected. She had an excellent knowledge of all the dresses in the store and listened to my vision, likes, and dislikes when considering different dresses for me. She played a massive part in making my experience so memorable. I am grateful for her help and all the laughs we shared.
