Logan and I grew up as next-door neighbors. We have pictures and memories of us playing together. I was a couple years older, and once I entered middle school, we never hung out or talked again; we grew apart and grew up. Almost 15 years later, we both returned to our childhood hometowns simultaneously. We noticed each other across a local pub but were too shy to approach each other after years of not seeing each other. It started with me adding him on Snapchat and a couple weeks later with him messaging me. We met up for a walk on our childhood street, which turned into talking into the early morning. We grew a friendship that eventually turned into love. A year later, we went on vacation to Maui, Hawaii. We both wanted memorable photos, so we hired a photographer to meet up on our last night there. Logan planned to propose to me, and he did in the middle of the photoshoot. It was caught on camera and was a memory we will treasure forever.
Logan and I love the outdoors and anything in nature. We started our wedding journey after getting engaged at sunset on the shores of Hawaii during a surprise photo shoot by a local photographer. For the wedding, we wanted something intimate and outdoor; we decided on a mountain-inspired wedding. We chose Ashville since it represented sophistication and seclusion. We invited only close friends and family. Two weeks before my wedding, my dad was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He had to get his kidney removed just days before leaving for our destination wedding. I almost canceled my wedding after this devastating news was given to our family, knowing my dad was unable to attend or my brother since someone had to care for him at home. My photographer worked with me and set up a tripod to facetime my father during the ceremony. After the wedding, I went over to the phone and spoke to him and was in tears just moments later. Without knowing until I got my pictures back, my photographer could catch the moment on camera, which I will forever treasure. The ceremony was beautiful, with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background at sunset. I could not have asked for a perfect day with the perfect man.
I had the best time at Bridal & Formal! Bobbi was my sales consultant, and she was so much fun. Bobbi made the experience memorable.
