The Proposal of
Rachel & Ryan
Ryan and I met in elementary school. We were friends until our freshmen year of high school when he finally got the guts to ask me to homecoming. A few weeks later, we were boyfriend and girlfriend! Flash forward to six and a half years later, when we celebrated my birthday with my closest friends and family in March of 2019. Ryan rented out a private room for my birthday dinner at Max and Erma’s. After dinner, it was time for cake! I cut into my birthday cake and found a ring box. When I turned around, Ryan was on one knee proposing to me! I, of course, said YES, and the rest is history.
The Wedding of
Rachel & Ryan
Our wedding day was perfect! We were supposed to get married on June 20th, 2020, but due to COVID-19, we pushed it back to October. It was a perfect fall day with the temperature being in the upper 60s and the sun is out. Our ceremony and reception took place at the Deer Creek Lodge and Conference Center. Our ceremony was outside at the lakeside gazebo, and our reception was inside the lodge in the main ballroom. The scenery was beautiful as the leaves were beginning to change into their fall colors. I cannot say enough good things about all of our vendors! Deer Creek was fantastic to work with and was super convenient as everything was all in one place. Deer Creek also served as our caterer, and the staff set up and cleaned everything up. It was all included in the price, which was pretty reasonable considering how expensive other venues are. Another plus about Deer Creek was our guests could stay the night there as it is a lodge. Our bridal party also could stay the night with us the night before the wedding making it easy for all of us to get ready together. Our DJ was amazing! Party Pleasers was accommodating and, overall, easy to work with. Our DJ was pumped up and got the party going. Overall, our wedding was fun and memorable, and I wish we could relive it all over again!
Rachel’s
Bridal & Formal
Experience
I had a great experience at Bridal and Formal! I came when the Randy Fenoli trunk show was going on in September of 2019. I love Randy Fenoli so getting to meet with him and try on his dresses was a fantastic experience! All of the staff were very nice, and the event was organized well.
My sales consultant, Jen, was terrific! She made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on and was easy to talk to. She helped me find my dream dress and made sure Randy came over to see it as it was one of his dresses.
