I went to at least 3 bridal boutiques before going to Bridal & Formal and had no luck. The staff helped me zero in on what I really wanted and I found the dress of my dreams! Mary was so amazing and helpful!

It was the literal PERFECT day. The wedding and reception were at Clementine, a hidden gem that the world needs to see! The day started off with getting ready at Hunter Paige salon. I went with Hollywood glam look for my hair and smoky eyes for makeup (give me all the drama). Then my now husband surprised us with a LIMO ride to the venue. We had a dance party until we arrived. Then it was time to put my dress on, my dream dress that it. Standing in front of the mirror, watching my mom and sister fasten all the buttons, I couldn’t believe my big day had finally arrived and I felt like a princess. It was then time for the first look. What a special (and nerve-racking) moment that was. Alex loved my dress and we both shared a tearful hug. Then it was time for wedding party photos, so fun! It was a little chilly that day but the lighting was PERFECT for photos. Before I knew it, it was time for the ceremony. I was so nervous (and excited). The main hall had an original organ in it from the late 1800s. As the organist played the dramatic “Here Comes the Bride”, I couldn’t take my eyes off of Alex. We were locked in and it was like no one else was in the room. We both wrote our own vows and cried like babies. So many people said it was the sweetest ceremony that they had ever been to. Then it was time for a cocktail hour…. passed appetizers and signature drinks. Mine was the “blushing bride” and his was the “Grinning Groom”. Then it was time for dinner…but no one wanted the cocktail hour to end (it’s usually always the opposite, #hangry). The black and gold doors opened into the gorgeous hall that had been flipped to the reception area. Our names projected onto the exposed brick wall, tables with sky-high floral bouquets, white linens, and gold chairs. The meal was amazing (though I only got a few bites). People raved about the food for days. Beef tenderloin, caper chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Yum! Then came the dancing and speeches, followed by my dad singing “Friends in Low Places” (only in Nashville). Before we knew it, everyone was having a blast on the dance floor jamming out to Kesha (Alex’s favorite). The DJ brought props and everyone was trading off wearing them…it was a hoot! Then I blinked and it was time to get into our limo and head to the hotel. I was sad it was all over, but will always cherish the memories. Best. Day. Ever.
